I'm working late... 'cause I'm a writer.

I’m primarily dedicated to delivering heartfelt pieces about the following topics:

- Highlighting the beauty of Kagoshima as an underrated Japanese prefecture.

- My personal experience of living in Japan straight out of university in my 20's.

- Identity. Things that have happened to me to get to where I am now. Struggles, journeys, what I’m grateful for.

- Vancouver. I don’t work in tech, I’m not a corporate girly, and I know nothing about cryptocurrency. So hear my voice, as someone who feels like they can’t keep up with Vancouver’s conformity pressures and hustle culture.

- Love. I have stories and lessons to share as I’ve been in a few -ships. What have I learned from each of them? What do I expect from my future partner?

- Music and culture. I listen to Japanese music, Korean music, English music, Filipino music, old music, new music — you can bet I have a lot to say.

- Food. My somewhat destructive relationship with food, eating out, cooking, and all of its isms, ins and outs, ups and downs.

- Creative writing. I grew up writing fiction and I want to continue, but only if I can grasp short story and poetry premises that are good enough.

And just about anything else I can wring out from my towel.
